1. O you who lowered the highlands,
And allowed access to the impenetrable,

2. Covered you and piety in a grave,
Embraced your body and legitimacy,

3. And restored the doctrine of Ahmad,
My miserable and evil natured mother,

4. Burying you placing over,
A back most benevolent to the multitude,

5. O you who departed with knowledge walking,
Little of this world altogether,

6. And pillowed in soil,
Wherein righteousness laid down to sleep,

7. You were the means to guidance,
And today without you there is no means,

8. The world is truly in an,
Era blind that has no dawn,

9. It seeks the likes of you preceding,
Between al-Husayrah and adh-Dhali’ah,

10. It was not more in need of your healing,
O you the gentle healer,

11. So go away, for the deceitful world,
Does not suit the likes of you,

12. For when you entered it you were protected,
Of temperament and nature,

13. And accompanied it with limbs,
Safeguarded for their Creator obedient,

14. And you left it pure not,
Sullied, thanked for the deed,

15. And you acted while you were the trustee,
Over the rights with it deed,

16. And you saw in it the opinion,
For what you had became calm,

17. Thus with it you equated,
The high souls with the lowly,

18. And now the earth has narrowed,
For your grave in it the vast,

19. It has returned like the day,
Of your death, that of grieved innards,

20. This tragedy renewed,
Its sorrows, that grief,

21. Lower upon you the solace O brother,
And soothe the anxious soul,

22. For the religion with the Mahdi,
Suffices to dry its tears,

23. This is the Imam of the time refuge,
Of every frightened anguished heart,

24. He is the adversary of enemies pleasure,
Of every humbled vanquished soul,

25. If you call on him for a group,
His sufficiency comes swiftly,

26. For you see him conceal it and Allah refuses,
Except to spread it,

27. O you who emulate him beyond you,
Of his high loftiness,

28. You have tired yourself in carrying,
That which you will not be able,

29. My Master He is the all encompassing sea,
Of every splendid virtue,

30. His children were brought up as clouds,
With which the world was bent obeying,

31. So if the earth's expanse withers,
They are for it springtime,

32. She who birthed them Umm al-Fakhar,
At the abode of splendid lineage,

33. A lineage whose origins are strung,
With the highest branches its offshoots,

34. O you the successor upheld,
For guidance among us its expanses,

35. And the one taking refuge in its pillar,
In every dreadful calamity,

36. For you are after the Pleased One,
Excellent remainder for legitimacy,

37. The breeze of pardon breathed,
Sprinkling its rain so it watered,

38. The soil of a burial wherein,
Lies an intercessor for it,
