1. I bring you glad tidings of glory and honor,
And dedicate to you the finest gifts of glory,

2. And compose for you gems of pride
That surpass the beauty of pearls.

3. Father of Al-Mustafa, you are the pride of the generous,
And the most honorable of those adorned with gems.

4. You are the purest branch that grew
From the tree of glory, strong and towering.

5. May God make this joy complete for you,
With might over you, the winds gently blow.

6. You remain among your honored family
Where you see what delights the eyes of honor,

7. Moving with joy among them,
Starting and ending each day with joy.

8. This day, your good news made the face of time shine brightly,
And its murky water cleared.

9. I composed with your righteous days
A cloak of virtues perfectly woven.

10. You took on the burdens of this age
When all others were too weak.

11. I say to those who march slowly through life,
Go gently in your pace, do not rush heedlessly.

12. Turn your hopes away from mortal men,
For they were vilified when they were but drops.

13. Hasten to the abode of the glorious one,
In him virtues find an excellent successor.

14. You will find the guest's excuse for a long stay
Is the pleasantness of his abode, so he does not leave.

15. When settling there, fully intending to stay,
I found it most excellent, so I secluded myself.

16. It reminds me of the Father of Al-Mustafa,
The blossoms of youth before the udder dries.

17. Indeed, considering his supreme virtues,
And his people, successors of predecessors.

18. You will find in him all traits of perfection,
And in them the generous servant embodied.

19. A young man whose palm, when generous,
Taught even the rain clouds how to pour down.

20. You see in Mustafa of glory, for the generous and virtues,
Broadcasting and covering.

21. When he extends his palm on the day of giving,
He folds up all whose pages news has spread.

22. He surpasses over all others in goodness
With a loftiness beyond any who have been described.

23. Time swore never to bring
Another like him, and was true to its oath.

24. How can the most generous compete with him
When all of them drew from his bounty?

25. Had he wished, he could have competed
With the smallest of his brothers among the most generous.

26. Forever displaying the excellent virtues
That the skillful hands of goodness assembled.

27. He is the excellent one called to perfection,
Even the envious confessed and acknowledged him.

28. His resting palms compete with youth in generosity,
And his manners are more tender than the tender branch.

29. O family of Al-Mustafa, who can rival you
When you are the stars in the sky of honor?

30. You have worn the middle garments of glory
While others only grasped its hem.

31. You preceded to the heights of highness,
With the highest of creation behind you in succession.

32. Were you to be weighed against the pleasure gardens
You would outweigh them and be lighter.

33. It delights the eye of all creation to see
Your homes differing in loftiness.

34. Over them the birds of good fortune
With the wings of felicity flutter about haughtily.

35. I congratulate you on a glorious young man
Whose excellent traits kindle passion.

36. Tomorrow his wedding will be a meadow of bliss
Where the blossoms of joy are plucked.

37. Through him we have been forgiven the sins of time
And said, "May God forgive what is past."

38. We have become filled with a joy whose sweetness we savor,
The most delightful melodies in the theaters of wit.

39. We undo the seal on the flask of joy
And imbibe the sweetest nectar sipped.

40. We congratulate and distinguish the generous one
Oh what a delightful halfway point of joy!

41. To be congratulated on a crescent-faced groom
Whose darkness of engagement is unveiled by him.

42. If the moon claims to have pictured him,
Say, "Away o moon, this is pure nonsense."

43. He is the most tender, picturing him
Would be but affectation and burden.

44. And picturing him, by my life, if the generous one
Were your father - that would be the sun of honor!

45. A generous one who raced ahead of the dew
And before his loftiness, time fell short and stood still.

46. O family of glory, you remain
With good news from time that does not withdraw.
