1. I have denied my hopes from the misers,
And placed my hopes in my son Ali.

2. They are for me a protection from adversities,
Rather, a sanctuary from all afflictions.

3. So I have two protectors in the abode of perishing,
And two intercessors in the everlasting abode.

4. My Lion Ali and whoever I call upon,
In every adversity, answer my call.

5. I see time throwing its arrows at me,
While knowing you both are my protection.
