1. Do you not see the garden glittering,
Arranging the pearls of heaven beautifully,

2. The light of silver and ingots,
When will the plants become like chains?

3. As if spring were a king,
Reviving its splendid light,

4. You see its fountains like ingots
Pure and March like registers,

5. It has extended a texture on its hills,
Criticizing the pure and base,

6. Like the criticism of Abū 'Amr, the eminent,
The son of the chiefs of As-Sarīyā,

7. The outstanding, the bright, the live,
The fickle, the frequent, the abundant,

8. And the amazing, the alert, the wise.
