1. Look to the side of the bloody sky
Flame on the waves of abundant flow

2. This glow spread in the sky
While that is on the billowy fog

3. The sun and the wavy sea meet
The mother of radiance and the source of grace

4. The garments of day took off as if
A diving maiden swimming joyfully

5. I escaped, being from the suns of kingdoms
Falling with passion on the coasts

6. Time rotates its morn and eve
Succeeding through the days

7. Oh regrets, and the gazelle frowning
Behind her veil in the west

8. They revel in hoary beauty as if
Clothed to last through years

9. Beauty is a sun in the pretty one not seen
Two days in its loyal orbit intact

10. The pretty Egyptian conquered many a Caesar
Passionate from her charm and love

11. She revelled as beauties revel, so her
Pride of beauty and rule grew high

12. She ruled people’s souls around her throne
And their necks with a glance and wink

13. And she sipped the poison of asps after
She enjoyed the cup of poisoned wine

14. And so she melted away, so where are today
Her rosy cheeks that gowns tailored?

15. The night let down its curtains in the sky
And cast covers on the hills

16. From each rise and every slope
A light sets replaced by darkness

17. Ships sail here as sailed
The ghosts haunting dream lands

18. And stars in the dusk of evening as if
Sparks scattered through days

19. And birds chirp and branches sway
Branches lean with sways of slumber

20. The messenger of peace rests between them
After constant clash and feud

21. And the sea charges the shores
With ebb at times and flow at times

22. It forever chants from one spring
Poetry its meanings without words

23. Until darkness blends it disappeared
Then tread gently amid footsteps

24. I studied its features so neither low
Nor lofty pillars were visible

25. You drowned it O night in you, and perhaps
Drowned seas in you while raging

26. Blessed, so submerge my darkness in darkness
O drowner of joys and sorrows
