1. O father of the people and son of redeemed Egypt
You are fortunate, and that is enough glory for you

2. We see miracles from your hands
Every day without trying to count them

3. So we see the individual as a nation through your triumphs
And we see the nation as an individual through your loyalty

4. Stay as you are, and victory will come to you willingly
While the disapprovers struggle in vain

5. And if a delegation disperses around you
Then raise your voice and go on alone as a dedicated delegation

6. You are the highest of heads in Egypt as a head
And the most honorable advocate in Egypt as an army

7. And the true son of its history, successive
In you, its eras continue, era after era

8. The pride of all it was proud of is that
You were its youth and its most steadfast elder

9. I see no critic of you today
Except that his slander increases your praise

10. They have become the jest of fate, and thought
That they could mock destiny intentionally

11. All infatuated with Egypt, pouring
Excessive love for tenderness indeed

12. So be gentle, for I do not see people who
In its love found a barrier but you, O Saad

13. Some of this is enough for you of its love
That you may stray, O people, from righteousness

14. O father of the people, none has transgressed
Against you, so act, for falsehood has a limit

15. Egypt does not turn to other than Saad
Or respond except to its righteous son Saad

16. The strong and bold in every right
And the intentional transgressor against aggressors

17. The trusted messenger in secret and openly
And the eloquent advocate, receiving and responding

18. The day it celebrated you was a day
The ages considered for those it prepared

19. May my poetry fail me if it does not immortalize you
