1. Short of breath but
He burns bright with spears alight
١. قَصيرُ الأَنابيبِ لكِنَّهُ
يَطولُ مَضاءً طِوالَ الرِماحِ
2. When anger stirs in darkened hearts
And doubt creeps at first light’s start
٢. إِذا عَبَّ مِ النِقسٍ في دامِسٍ
وَدَبَّ مِنَ الطِرسِ فَوقَ الصَباحِ
3. Troubles take shape before his eyes
The rugged path yields no surprise
٣. تَجَلَّت لَهُ مُشكِلاتُ الأُمورِ
وَلانَ لَهُ الصَعبُ بَعدَ الجِماحِ
