١. لَو كُنتَ شاهِدَهُ وَقَد غَشِيَ الوَغى
يَختالُ في دِرعِ الحَديدِ المُسبَلِ
2. You would have seen, while he gripped his staff,
A sea spilling the blood of warriors in streams.
٢. لَرَأَيتَ مِنهُ وَالقَضيبُ بِكَفِّهِ
بَحراً يُرِيقُ دَمَ الكُماةِ بِجَدوَلِ
