1. The soul recalls the memory of the master of mankind
Have mercy on the soul, for the soul is in danger

2. His memory was an admonition for the free soul
Making it needless of history books and biographies

3. His memory revives and refreshes the soul
His memory is like water to a tree

4. His memory inspired people on earth, saying
Whoever follows the truth will be safe from others

5. Your memory, O best of God's creation
Has come back to us while all people are frustrated

6. Where virtue has died in their souls
And evil has spread among nomads and urban people

7. And ignorance has covered their horizons beyond knowledge
And reason has become restrained for them

8. And poverty has made the hearts of the poor bleed
As fire made its people bleed in Hell

9. Have mercy, O Lord, people have abandoned
The guidance of the Messenger and lived the life of cattle

10. So one cries out in grief and pain
While tears flow from his eyes like rain

11. But others have remained apathetic
Spending nights content in filthy taverns

12. Where is the prayer that brings life to hearts?
It has now become rare like engravings on stone

13. Where is the alms that bring joy to the giver's face
When he gives to the poor, counting on God's reward?

14. Where is the struggle that elevates its owner
From this earth to the highest place in heaven?

15. Where are the pilgrims of God's House? Where are they?
Those who never visited the House have failed indeed

16. They opposed all the Messenger brought
And left the House to Austria and Hungary

17. O people, restrain your desires
And free yourselves, for they have died of frailty

18. O people, rise up, for today is your day
The time has come to abandon vanity and wine

19. Repel all those who avoid battle
And rally all seasoned warriors

20. When an opponent sees his enemy in battle
Wearing a robe of fear, not a fur coat

21. Prepare for this battle, make ready
The weapons of war are more than bows and cords

22. We battle disbelief with faith, so consider
Polytheism with truth, oneness and vigilance

23. We defeat ignorance through education
As demons were defeated by verses and chapters

24. O people, do not despair, God will grant us victory
Whoever is God's soldier will be victorious
