1. I speak to him when the watcher is absent,
And ask him for an answer, but he does not respond.

I have committed, so that I may repent from it?

7. I see you harder of heart towards me than all people
While I am in a state that melts hearts.

8. Are you a lover or enemy, tell me?
For your actions are not those of a lover!

9. In you, my lover, are diverse enemies -
Envier, slanderer and spying watcher.

10. Yet here I am, by your right waging jihad,
Hoping the near victory will come from your union.

11. I will reveal to you my secret love for you,
Not knowing if I will fail or succeed?

12. I see that this beauty is a sign of goodness,
Giving me glad tidings that I will not fail!
