1. If we meet again after this day in seclusion
Then for me and for you there will be long reproach

2. And I was once not saying but doing
But after this I will say

3. By my life, you have taught me against you
And if I am taught, in me there is acceptance

4. I have hidden from you things I will say
For them refined sentences and sections

5. By Allah, a message does not heal anguish
Nor does the messenger relieve the lover's complaint

6. It is nothing but an absence, then we meet
And all this goes away and passes

7. And the blamer thinks the tears I shed for you are many
Yet for your right those many are few

8. And I am not one who borrows tears
To cry with if a friend turns away from me

9.
If tears flowed from other than my eyes

10. Seas and floods flowed from my eyes
And I swear my tears wasting away in you

11. As if my soul in tears does flow
Except me, no other believes the slanderers’ words

12. And others in reproaching a beloved are hasty
Whoever intends to cut me off will regret after me

13. And remember my words and time is long
And O my blamer, in my agony I do not hear

14. So how can I not listen and you prolong?
If the one I love is pleased away from me
