And so he spoke and opposed

6. My master left me no dignity
Amongst the people at all

7. You are my soul, I see no separation
From you, O my soul, at all

8. So when you are absent I toss
Left and right in my distress

9. How could I forget you or replace
One so lovely and beautiful?

10. You are the imam of beauty
In you my heart is engrossed

11. No, by God, I cannot believe
You could be to me unlawful

12. To suspect some wrong is a sin
God speaks the truth, He is sublime
