١. أَرسَلتُهُ في حاجَةٍ
كَالماءِ هَيِّنَةِ المَساغِ
2. But was deprived of its swift execution
For he lacked eloquence
٢. فَحُرِمتُ حُسنَ قَضائِها
إِذ لَم يَكُن حَسَنَ البَلاغِ
3. Like wine sent to gladden the heart
Rising to the head
٣. كَالخَمرِ يُرسَلُ لِلفُؤا
دِ بِها فَتَصعَدُ لِلدِماغِ
