1. O gatherer of wealth so you may rest with it
The heart finds no comfort except with the brave
١. يا جامعَ المالِ كيما تستريحُ بهِ
ما راحةُ القلبِ إلاّ للصعاليكِ
2. So be poor and live the life of kings
And be not rich and live the life of slaves
٢. فكنْ فقيراً تعشْ عيشَ الملوكِ ولا
تكنْ غنياً تعشْ عيشَ المماليكِ
