1. O displaced ones, and my tears are displaced with them
After you, no human has lived softly

2. My eyes from tears, and the heart that magnified
Its passions for you is empty of you and full

3. Your auspicious book, its bird has arrived
In it meanings, for which souls are prices

4. I did not know, did the full moons rush me from your book
Or gazelles enticed me from it flirtatiously

5. O cheek whose pen is of basil around me, be
So how can I be tranquil and around roses is basil

6. May Allah protect you from an eye that was infatuated with you
By magic, so is it magic, O Ma'ath, you enchanter

7. And O Nizam, scattering of pearls is his right
For each verse of yours has ransomed a collection

8. If you said, “It suffices me,” and if you intoxicated my mind
When you captivated my heart, then this captivity is a favor

9. And you, O generous ones, send it by
A dispatch to my heart, for you are its inhabitants

10. My love for you has become one color
Since variations of love do not please me

11. These are missives of the brethren of purity, stop
With them if sincere brethren lack brethren

12. May Allah, Lord of the Throne, bless you from a group
Peace from me upon them wherever they may be
