1. The prince had hoped for the impossible
And brought upon his people bloodshed
١. لقدْ طمع البِرِنْسُ بمستحيلٍ
فَجَرَّ لقومِهِ سفكَ الدماءِ
2. Had the prophet been left undefended
The angels of heaven would have come to his aid
٢. ولو تُرك النبيُّ بلا دفاعٍ
لدافعَ عنهُ أملاكُ السماء
