1. In the name of God, the Creator, this is what was bought
By Muhammad son of Yunus son of Sunqura

2. From Malik son of Ahmad son of Al-Azraq
Both well known from Jilq

3. So he sold him a plot of land situated
In Bawwabat Al-Ghouta, which has trees

4. Of different kinds
And the land with the trees was sold

5. The length of this plot by the cubit
Is twenty cubits without dispute

6. And its width is also ten cubits
By the recognized cubit

7. It is bordered on one side by Al-Taqi’s land
And the Roman’s land borders the east

8. The north is bordered by the land of Al-Ali’s sons
And the west belongs to Amer son of Jahbal

9. And this plot is known from ancient times
As the plot of the daughter of the Roman

10. A valid and binding sale according to Sharia
And an absolute purchase properly conducted

11. For a price of silver amounting to
Two thousand weighed and pure dirhams

12. Current among people in transactions
One thousand of it being complete

13. The seller received it in full
So the debt was cleared

14. And he handed over the land to the buyer
Who took possession of the plot from him duly

15. With mutual consent they parted
Willingly, neither having any remaining claim

16. Then responsibility for taxes well-known
Regarding it falls on the seller aforementioned

17. And they both testified to this on
The fourteenth of the noble month of Ramadan

18. Of the year seven hundred and ten
After the Hijrah by five more years

19. And praise be to God and my Lord prayed
Upon the Prophet, his family and companions

20. Umar son of Al-Muzaffar Al-Maari witnessed
The valid contents here when he attended

21. Ahmad son of Rasool attended the valid sale and witnessed it
