1. You were once a secret scribe among them,
Now you are a scribe of revelation within the house.
١. قد كنتَ كاتبَ سرٍّ خارجاً معهمْ
فصرتَ كاتبَ وَحْيٍ داخلٍ الدارِ
2. How much did you write in fear of the oppressor -
Now, fear him not and write of the Creator.
٢. كمْ قدْ كتبتَ عن الباغي لخشيتِه
فالآنَ لا تخشَهُ واكتبْ عنِ الباري
