1. My heart was burnt by separation until it was cooked
It still swirls in the sea of passion, turbulent

2. With tears that flowed and did not dry
On cheeks tinged with the redness with which they were dyed

3. Why do not my tears redden my cheeks, when
I was reminded of a shadow in Madinah intertwined

4. I long for Hijaz and its inhabitants
A land on which the garments of spring were embroidered

5. Clouds watered Hijaz, bringing to life
The dead plants, so vegetation would wave

6. O hall of Al-Wu’sa, what is this aroma
Did you shelter wild thyme or harbor violets?

7. Or a breeze that blew from Mount Tuwaile’
Shaking its coats, so musk permeated

8. Thirsty for its meadows and gardens
A thirst that makes the heart more fiery

9. What are the gazelles doing? Did they see
The lightning under the darkness’ robes?

10. O Saad! If you see the joy of Taybah
Rejoice that you are saved among the rescued

11. Descend and kiss its soil humbly
Submissively, imploringly, watchfully

12. Use its soil as kohl for your eyes and rejoice
In the tooth-stick of a prophet, most honorable and joyful

13. The highest in rank, greatest in piety
Most perfect in glory and most complete in pilgrimage

14. The most intense of them with the sword and the gentlest
The most esteemed in status and the clearest in approach

15. Where in the two realms is one like Muhammad
Whom we hope in our afflictions to relieve

16. How many miracles does Prophet Muhammad have
Which weakened those who opposed and troubled him

17. Wondrous is the speech of the doe to Mustafa
God made it for her an exit from distress

18. If the moon had not split as a miracle for him
It would have split out of zeal and embarrassment

19. Why does not my heart yearn for him, as
Yearning has overwhelmed its essence and provoked it?

20. Glory to Him who gave him the tasbih of pebbles
In his blessed hand when thirst was severe

21. Is not the spider house a sign
In the cave when it was inspired to weave?

22. How many eyes has he cured! How many disabled did he bless!
With his prayers, how many hardships has he relieved!

23. How much news of the unseen did he say truthfully!
His words like the dawn when it shines clearly

24. And he has signs of the Isra’
When Allah called him on a tranquil night

25. Whoever tries to count the miracles of Muhammad
Would count the waves of the sea when it raged

26. The Quran was revealed describing him
I fall short praising him, confused

27. After Ya Seen and Ta Ha, is there any eulogy
About the Hashimi and his family, the ships of salvation?

28. O best of Allah's creation, O my only wish
I hope in you, and you are the best to hope for

29. O you who hold the banner of praise in his hand and whom
The crown of honor on the Day of Resurrection will adorn

30. My body is too weak for the heat and torment of it
Far be it from you to forget one who has resorted to you

31. Be my intercessor; my body is burdened
With sins, and he who caused them has abandoned me

32. How long will I procrastinate in repenting, hesitating?
It is my tears’ right to mingle with blood

33. I am most in need of intercession as a sinful one
The generous favor the most needy

34. May Allah send blessings upon you, O best of creation
The fire around your shrine illuminates the darkness
