١. لقد قالتْ لنا حلبٌ مقالاً
وقد عزمَ المشدُّ على الرواحِ
2. When corruption has spread through all my endowment,
Then how could I be deserving of righteousness?

فكيفَ أكونُ قابلةَ الصلاحِ
