The smoothness of ripe grapes,

As clear as the water of youth,

3. If it were not real flowing water
It would be a mirage,

4. As if it were a pearl’s body
With a necklace of bubbles,

5. Flowing through white pebbles
As white as raindrops,

6. As if it were saliva flowing
Over lips of agony.
