1. How much you deny while tears bear witness
And sometimes you admit and sometimes deny

2. Do you think love is hidden by one infatuated
Sickly, whose flowing tears do not freeze

When in it the ties of passion do not decay

4. O my informer, how is the beloved group -

And when will I succeed in what I aspire and be happy?

6. Yearning for a heart whose fires
Burning inside never cool

7. How many jealous rivals because of her
Became to me among people flashing with threats and thunder

8. Her appearance is paradise to my eyes
And to my soul she is a blazing flame

9. Time passes, its new and old
And my passion in it is renewed

10. Her face is like the dawn, white
Her hair like the night, black

11. Her lips like budding pomegranate

16. The regions of the world shine with his justice
And armies of injustice are banished from them

17. He has a hand that rises above all creation
In honor, and no hand rises above his

18. If his fingers were pressed into granite
That granite would leaf from them one day

19. If the heavens suited mans’ abode
He would have a seat ready there one day

20. Plunging into battle’s sea on days of calamity
Among knights, straight to the point

21. In that terrible tight spot where from fear
Obligatory acts shiver and shake

22. You have glory O wild ass of Lu’ayy
Which narrators gain and are helped by

23. You battled knights of enemies with regiments
From which death and purpose emerge

24. So your sword fulfilled its duty to you willingly
Beheading and prostrating wherever it landed

25. And you shone in Islam a sun whose light
Extinguishes the fire of misguidance and puts it out

26. Now there is in it no magus and no
Christian and no Jew

27. So boast for you are a Tubba’ along with Tubba’
Noble and after happiness most fortunate
