1. Trust in the wise, not the brother, for sometimes
The wise may be closer than the brother

2. How narrow were straits that became spacious with the wise
And spaciousness became with ignorance narrow

3. And forgive your brother, for if you burden him
With excess, you make righteousness disobedience in him

4. Oh what bad times for men, when an ignoble one's
Ill thoughts about it become reality the next day

5. A time that made the forbearing among people
Feeble, and made the foolish judicious

6. And the praiseworthy generous one's fate
Became according to his morals

7. And the ignoble one became in it fitting
While the free one is prevented from attaining desires

8. And the base one freely pursues his passions
While the judicious, intelligent and forbearing

9. Are discarded into a far corner
And I see the ignorant transgressors with their ignorance
