1. A messenger came to the beloved
And the wings of night are folded

2. So remind me of the days of well-being when I had my wish fulfilled
While the sadness of separation was arranged

3. And the joy of union accepted
Say to Saadiyya, does

4. The rope remain connected?
And is there for the enamored, desirous one, a welcome and facilitation?

5. With anklets on her legs making noise
As she walked gracefully like a gazelle

6. Smooth and delicate are her cheeks
As if made up by magic at night

7. Her figure is slender and erect
And her lips are sweet as honey

8. Her cheeks are as if mixed
With the water of beauty

9. Ruddy as a pond
When it sparkles and flows

10. As if her face’s glow
Is a lamp for us in the dark of night

11. She is neither too short nor too tall
I and she are but killer and killed forever

12. And a land where the night spent with us
Sending its messages continuously

13. We recite poetry none of which
Among other poems is filled

14. A praise poem on an honorable man
It is melody and chanting

15. A protector of his honor and wealth
Freely offered from his hands

16. A horseman who has none with him but his sword
And a brave, intrepid fighter

17. A sea abundant in generosity
Hopeful and expected

18. A lofty mountain wherein the summit
Is the dwelling place of glory

19. A sword among God's swords in the land
Drawn and ready

20. A full moon in guidance and pride
Descended and positioned on earth

21. His face deserves exaltation and praise
As he kneels down in prayer

22. His policies are justice,
Prohibition and permission

23. A well-guided leader crowned
With wisdom and prudence

24. His rule complies with what
Gabriel brought down

25. As if his words were Furqan (Quran)
Torah and Bible

26. Oh you, who can change and transform kingship
And whom partisan quarrels and sayings do not dissuade

27. Indeed you fulfilled my needs regarding what I have obtained and requested
