Love gushed forth when hope was lost

12. If your love is a sin and crime
How lovely are those sins and trespasses

13. I am your captive, fasting or breaking fast
I have told my family, elders and youths

14. What can be said if I get drunk on wine
How sweet is drunkenness and tipsiness

15. Ask me, I have told my notebooks about you
And the letters of my pen and the university halls

16. I almost scream your name from every pulpit
Not ashamed or hesitant to profess and declare

17. Expressions failed me during our separation
And I mingled elegy with love poetry

18. I saw sheets of paper jealous
Of your cheek and eyes that shyly lower their gaze

19. If you allow an embrace, it's as if
You've relieved an unbearable sorrow

20. And if you refuse, I will die, and you'll regret
Forever, but there is no solution after death
