1. Blessed and joyful are the free when united,
Their celebration and friendship liberates man,

2. No glory to the land where slaves tread,
And bend to idols and statues.

3. Though roses bloom beautifully this month,
More beautiful is the liberation of slaves.

4. The free world, its life and glory,
And it was protected by hymns and the Quran,

5. Whose sincerity and awe surpassed the devoted,
Verses glorifying the Lord of monks.

6. Kinship is man’s ornament
Before learning religion and wisdom.

7. Liberation is man’s honor
Before majesty of a king and sultan.

8. Equality is man's value
Before ancestry and homelands.

9. On such a day, truth rose in might
Yearning to free the suffering weary one,

10. So truth mingled with the public
After being an inheritance of the oppressive tyrant,

11. What whisper then equals its awe?
Greater than thanking souls and bodies,

12. And obeying it, not blind obedience,
But obedience with free will and faith.

13. Whenever we celebrate its holiday eagerly
Like the outpouring of passion of rivers and brooks,

14. It renews souls for us that withered
From struggle, injustice and lies.

15. April forgot when spring died in it
When hopes were fulfilled in June,

16. As if hearts were created anew from Noah
As light is born from kindling fires,

17. Or like fruits that shone radiant,
A child in the bosom of gardens.

18. We lean on it and hope that it remains with us
For lifetimes and more,

19. And spread to all people entirely
Like air and light in an instant.

20. Blessed be you, oh holiday, my revival,
Remain, oh holiday, memory of every man.
