1. My poem trembles near you like time
If only your heart could grasp what's in me

2. And you recite my poem like my feelings
As the letters come alive singing

3. Your graceful fingers flow over it
Like the refreshing breezes flow gently

4. O my ever-illuminated well of inspiration
What richness and meaning have you poured into it

5. In every word beyond what it carries
You've granted it clarity, transcending my spirit

6. I recite my verses after you've forged them
With the rhythmic pulses of my imagination

7. Be the smiling ones and be the healer before the tearful ones
And the fragrant ones from Paradise that I see

8. None but you perfumes them with precious scent
And the poetic ones - yesterday you were solid rock

9. And the miracles immortalized and perished
And the storytellers of affection's nectar

10. Revived wishes and dreams of the past
This is my poem which I denied before

11. Returned to me, my fondest hope
