1. O father of the country, the country is exalted through you
With glory, forbearance, governance, and wisdom

2. You were blessed who wronged himself to burden it
So he may fight evils and darkness

3. Indeed, as austerity persisted
It became wealth and light and inspiration

4. What made you tempted by extravagance leading to ruin
Indeed, integrity has given you permanence

5. Far from you, deficient one, to attain what you reached
You who made days into days

6. You whose pardon is from the nobility of his morals
No matter how much evil is done and blame is cast

7. You who transcended around his chastity
A people and excelled in destitution through favor

8. You who never claimed his determination lent him
Courage, and we were sated, resolute and daring

9. You who those wounds spoke of
Encouraging those afraid or failed from hesitation

10. You whom neither presidencies that thrived
Betrayed him one day, nor rubbish from those who slept

11. You for whom everything his duty means
Religion, life, realization, and dreams

12. You whom tyranny fears his wisdom
Even if sieged by swords and mines

13. You whom his dignity protected him
So he may face when the sword protects idols

14. You where, wherever his procession settled
Righteousness and guidance innocently and Islamically settled.

15. Protector of the Nile and Sudan, his witness on them
So where is one who surpassed him if he protected them

16. Pride of Egypt through the ages, his conduct
As meekness named everyone exalted

17. O you whose house enriches him a kingdom
And his symbol is benevolence and wisdom

18. And who justice is his torch and made it first
To erase injustices and illnesses

19. And to remove misguided ignorance
And defeat the group no matter how widespread the crime

20. And to dispel nakedness with no place
As cotton spreads clothes and flags

21. I extend to you the greetings of poetry as melodies
