1. O sons of Ma'rouf who are ungratefully forgotten
Despite signs of greatness atop a glorious peak

2. Through you, Arabhood was adorned when you were seen
Possessing its most honorable traits sought by the healed

3. Yet your valor did not cease singing
Epic tales of Al-Tuba and Al-Taqif

4. Nor did your protective mantles cease to shine
With divine brilliance, most chaste

5. Nor did your courage cease to be
A refuge and fortress in days of oppression and tyranny

6. Indeed, sacrifice is your creed
The greatest of which you conceal discretely

7. Just so does the sun overflow with life
Never dying, giving while hiding discreetly

8. Is Mount Druze anything but a minaret
A descendant of the sun in revelation and kindness

9. Receiving it, bestowing upon it life
And kissing it loyally, successor after successor

10. And when they exchanged love for love
And when they intermingled pride with pride

11. A people of eminent free will was born
In the mountains and plains

12. Throughout the ages, their roars rumbled
Echoing the floods on the lowlands

13. Leaving us to sing through the days
Their epic despite the scorn of scorner

14. Their good men reminded me, gathered around
Consoling me, an exile like them

15. Increasing my fervor and heroism despite my weakness
Such is the chivalry of their heroes

16. Each individual worth one thousand men
As for their religion, it is enlightenment and nobility

17. And gathered manliness and aloofness behind
And their freedom is sacred and lofty

18. For they revolted against injustice and evil
Though few, they are the most precious inheritance

19. And finer than throngs that do not fulfill
The skilled did not ask the unskilled

20. To match the adeptness of the healer
One who craves his fortune with spears and horses

21. Craves it with wealth and booty
Nor does the majestic mountain entice him

22. To ascend its heights like a lighter part
