3. An arrow flies through this human, though it has no wings,
She walked by, shaming the branch of myrtle.

4. She smiled like lightning in the rain,
I was amazed, confused, dazzled,

5. Unsure if it was her beauty or my passion.
When beauty reaches perfection,

6. It captures the hearts of devout and sinful alike.
When love possesses our hearts,

7. They obey the rule of the beloved.
O breeze that blows, carrying sweet scent,

8. Have you any kindness for my wounded heart?
You ignore me, and in ignoring, you kill

9. Love itself, leaving my heart perplexed.
You deliberately disregard my poems,

10. Though in them I placed the treasure of my pearls,
I singled you out with melody and dew,

11. I watered your love from my spring of poetry,
I weakened myself for your sake, though I am blameless,
