4. A descendant of Dhad...neither boasting nor its origin
The island of Arabs, glories since they existed

5. The people of eloquence and literature, if they speak
The word is conclusive, people depend on it

6. With them manners and tongues are established
And what they denounced and criticized cannot stand

7. For religion and justice they sacrificed and what they opened
And for Arabism what they built and what they supported

8. They attained the pinnacle of glory
And none but them were present when they witnessed

9. How many tyrants they humiliated with cavalries
And with politics how many they solved and tied

10. Those feats are from inspiration and nobility
If they glorified the world with them, they would have glorified it

11. If only descendants of those who ruled the world one day
Regain from the days what they lost

12. If they abandon the “past” and their dignity
They will have no tomorrow in the two worlds

13. What calamities do not cease to afflict us
With their fires and the madness of evil accumulates

14. There are envious people and we know that our wealth
With the brilliance of its quality breeds envy

15. We are targeted, and our afflictions separate us
And in separation is what hurts and weakens

16. And there is no means to protect the security of our nation
Except unity, on which determination is tied

17. Uniting the army, departments and brigades
Unifying money, no knots twist it

18. If you want for this people their power
And their safety, then stop procrastinating and unite
