1. Justice alone brings security to nations
And peace only to those true to their word,

2. Who speak what their conscience dictates
Without bias for the tyrant or the avenger,

3. They have a history with truth that honors them
In the Security Council or in the United Nations,

4. They weigh their words when they speak... and if they judge
It is with justice, not falsehood and accusation.

5. Say to the mighty whose claws
Have long gripped the people: permanence cannot last.

6. God changes the state of His servants - have you not heard
Of the ruin of ‘Aad and of Iram?

7. The people have rights in their homelands;
If denied them, they will not stint to shed blood.

8. So support every oppressed soul wronged
By the injustice of the mighty, and respect the sanctity of covenants,

9. Apply justice, for it is justice that God established -
Without justice foundations cannot stand nor rise.

10. Its charter stipulates no truckling to
Or siding with the unjust and the criminal.

11. Yet policies of the powerful have turned it to
One who cares not for morals or values.

12. There is no faith in politics to be invoked
Against wrongs, between opponent and judge.

13. The faith of politics in this world is its interests;
No harm in profit from permitted or forbidden.

14. When they speak to you, it is with the lies they know
And the conscience aged into gloom.

15. Were those consciences molded, they would be of unyielding
Stone, or malice, poison, and gloom.

16. Nothing like justice - justice reforms
And reforms people, Arab and non-Arab alike.
