1. Bells of Evening and how lovely their chime,
When Bells of Evening start to softly chime,
2. How many a tale that I have sung before,
Shall sing again when I'm no more, no more.
3. Their lingering melody will onward flow,
Each day it echoes, echoing as they go,
4. And other bards will cross these barrens lone,
A bardic throng with song and music blown,
5. They chant your lofty praise as day grows dim,
By magic spell of you, oh Bells of Eve hymn.
