I was made for only embracing hardship

It did not leave my bed at nightfall

3. How can one find comfort?
A heart settled with comfort today

4. How much I endured, how much
Your pens awakened the people, never to forget

5. How much I spoke, but no one listened
Pay heed to advice and good words

6. Thus the exemplary sermons
To those who sought refuge in me from the tyranny of time

7. Whom do you call out to whenever
You exclaim or direct words, but to whom?

8. Is it to a people who
Threw themselves into death, yet were unaware?

9. If this is so, what more
Can you do, Jesus? Spare yourself

10. If all the people are
Lost in death's intoxication, vainly buried

11. Concerned only with
Living under the burdens of sedition

12. Leave them be, it is most right
For their comfort, so make their shroud from now on
