If the lights in it are darkness

Do we throw the arrows at them

11. Peace upon these fields and what they contained
Of the singing nightingale when it circled above them

12. And away from these flowers in their prime
When they embraced roses and the branches of palm trees

13. Peace upon this breeze when it blew
And stirred leaves and made doves cry

14. Peace upon my hills, Badri and its waves
Alas, I bid it peace

15. My country, alas, your fancy deceived you
And you divided in dispute

16. You shot an arrow for greatness, so why
Did you, after that, shoot arrows at my heart

17. Do you not fear Allah? Tighten your saddles
And land on the chest of the country and a symbol

18. Of concord, and do not wrong the people altogether
Rightfully in its name, do not drink it hot

19. Woe if you understand its symbols
You would see in the heart a blaze it ignited

20. Sorrowful, gloomy, lamenting its misfortune
Drowning in the blood of worries, compressed

21. The sun of discord has faded in its youth
So it grew old while my era is still a boy

22. Oh Tunisia, do not unleash thunder as vengeance
Upon us for we do not deserve revenge

23. Trust that we are children of your soil
Which we sanctify out of love and passion for it

24. Trust that the causes of discord are temporary
On foundations that aim for them to persist

25. Trust that we seek your good whenever
We speak even if speech drags speech

26. Trust and be certain that we will exert our efforts
