1. Sing, O warbler, do not lament with me
You were not created with me for lamenting

2. Let my tears flow pouring from my eyes
And rejoice at the rain drops from the clouds' weeping

3. Leave me to celebrate the spring leaves
Singing atop the budding branches

4. Where the exquisite foliage adorns them
With the dress of the beloved, the shining sun

5. From above the hillock with a delicate voice
The sorrowful hears that chirping

6. Perhaps it will heal the sickly ribs
When worries and torment make him forgetful

7. While you complain that in the nest you sleep
In the meadows, on the thick carpeting

8. Finding in the light at times and darkness
Once the soul lovingly takes flight

To extend their hand to the counselors

16. If only they had witnessed or heard
That the humiliation of life is the life of the inert

17. But when the people collectively
Turned away from encountering the chronic illness

18. The veil of the spring was confused and refused
To see the light of guidance behind the veil

19. Be absent from them O stars
Or conceal yourself O moon that contains them

20. Or be still O breeze do not blow
Remaining in your abode, vanishing, do not stir

21. Or you O rain hide it for a day
Reside on the horizon and beware of pouring down

22. And strain yourself O sun not to rise
If their spittle contains traces of slime

23. The chronic illness confuses the wretched one
How foolish is the wretched one and how miserable the ailing

24. This is not the cause of all that
Has befallen the Easterner of this kind

25. Rather, the spirit complains of pain within
And the spirit's affliction has tales and sayings

26. So do not try to cure
A garment's rip before the clothes are worn out

27. O Easterner, remain in your slumber
Until the dawn appears before your eyes

28. And let our pains in your heedlessness
Be one sigh, giving respite to the people

29. You do not know the meaning of your existence
Other than the body and organs being healthy

30. Wherever you find pasture, you graze
Then drink wherever you find water to drink

31. O Easterner, ignorantly worship
A heart not a blackened face

32. You are slave, so in my stance
Try to knock on the doors of stubbornness

33. You who disappear from the slightest idea
You are a spirit subjugated by the inanimate

34. In you is embodied the fourth impossibility
Interjected into your essence, alleviating affliction

35. Leave be a land on which
Pure blood of the house's father was spilt

36. Leave be a sun whose serenity
Leave be these fragrant breeze

37. You do not comprehend in it its right
Mocking it, so it has become mocking

38. You see it only as the croaking of frogs
Or the fleeing of a cat or the buzzing of flies

39. Beneath you lies the desert, if you wish
And if the desert accepts you, make it your dwelling

40. Where will you find companionship in your form?
From all those from whom it is inconceivable not to curse you

41. Sleep in it as long as you wish
Making the snakes' abode your hideaway

42. And call to travel, or rather proclaim
That you are expelled from this soil

43. And forget whatever remains in its outskirts
Of belongings you hunted to obtain

44. For it has now become spoils
For its enemies did not toil to attain it

45. Where the wolf lurked in its corners
Casting to obtain it

46. So let it be victorious in the death throes
And let you be some victims of the traps
