12. And grateful for God's blessings, he spends
His mornings and evenings in pleasing Him

13. And is gentle in describing my state and complaint
My intimacy, O sincere and beloved one

14. Say to him, and speech honors one like you
In the assembly of supremacy, to say

15. O lord of kings, O just one of time
If time is equitable in its seasons

16. Do not neglect to mend my fracture, for I have not
Ceased to hope in you, for the long hands

17. I am a neighbor whom you have protected
And you have paved the path to supremacy

18. And a stranger whom you have accustomed to wilderness
And sorrow with consent and ease

19. And united his estrangement, so God decreed separation
And what He decreed is not hoped for

20. Time has been expensive with children and family
And its thoughts were not that it would be aggressive

21. And fate has shackled him, with branches
And roots that have covered him, encroached upon him

22. So you pulled him by his forelock, and obtained
All that supremacy wanted to obtain

23. And raised his worth before he complained
To you, of his blindness and withdrawal

24. And made obligatory his right, never!
God forbid you see the impossible

25. An ambition none but you have known
And I who have experienced my time and generation

26. The enemies fabricated lies
With flawed methodologies

27. Circulated strange slander about me
Which they set up for their own ropes

28. And blamed what they wanted of false accusations
Thinking it would be accepted

29. They claimed I came up with words
That I would not think to say

30. How can I betray rights when I
Thank you for your abundant favors?

31. How can I deny the hands known
By the sun and the shaded shadows?

32. If so, I have been absolved by God the Exalted
And openly betrayed His Messenger

33. They have collared us with the order of the book, so it was
Easy for the kindling of suspicions about us

34. No, by the Lord of the Book Allah revealed
Upon a heart that comprehended its revelation

35. We did not accept that in deed, nor did we
Come to it willingly, nor followed its evidence

36. Rather, we complied with the Book wrongfully
With no hope of defending it with cunning

37. Wrath of an intimate enemy and slow patience
And arms polished to stab us

38. Leave me be, I am not of the position of rule
Nor trailing behind them tails

39. Except I am maligned with my mention
And the strings of my guts and内are examined

40. So we wrote relying on your forbearance
To erase the heavy hurts from us

41. We did not point with it to Zayd or Amr
Nor did they specify details for us

42. Rather, they mention ambiguously whom and in whom
Its rulings are transmitted

43. And they think it is as they harbored
Of ugliness or villainy

44. While it is an opinion far from right
And darkness they did not properly interpret

45. And the sultan, may God protect him from disgrace with guidance and virtue

Renew for him your pleasure rites

50. For the rites of generosity do not change
Shelter him in mercy, for the knots of his patience

And release him by force, for he hopes for naught

52. Save your benevolence for this frail one
O splendid in effects in the times, O Tuntunji, O meadow of supremacy and refuge

58. An accepted nearness with your Lord
And accompany good fortune, attaining hopes

59. And leave the defeated enemy band
And act during the happy reign of the apparent king

60. To erase harm and eliminate it
And return the world to its best bond

61. When you sacrifice your happiness, included
And seek victory from his happiness, it accompanies you

62. To repel and impede
And anticipate what befalls the enemies

63. In Jumada or a little after it
And take him seriously with good acceptance

64. God speaks the truth in His ordained time
For the Prophet used to give good omens
