1. She who adorned people's necks with his generosity like a necklace,
I said to her, he is the crescent moon,

2. The descendant of Sa'eed, the son of the Sultan whose
Short spear is long in his grip,

3. He is the renowned master in every place,
He has scope in the highest heavens,

4. Generous, benevolent, his struggle cannot be endured,
And he has no equal in this time,

5. The peers bow to him in war prostrated,
When the tips of the deadly lances bare,

6. And I praised him in poetry,
And even if my enemies turned on me and said,

7. And the times deprived me of attaining him,
Even if they made it prohibited for me,
