1. Your book came like a pearl moon
And the light from its path rises and descends

2. So its bird landed on my palms and tears
Flowed from my eyes that the rain cannot match

3. Pages with good news were sent to you
With clarity that neither sun nor moon can parallel

4. It tells the news of my state while carrying
Greetings from me spreading like pearls

5. To you, O most honorable of creation
Whom neither land nor sea can contain

6. My heart never stops remembering you
And my eyelid is sleepless with vigilance

7. I ask the wind sometimes to let me know
About you though it has no knowledge or news

8. And I ask Allah for an urgent reunion
Perhaps sorrows and troubles will leave me
