1. O Uliwah, tears have been poured out and informed
Our secrets when we moistened the soil with them

2. I cried when parting became my opponent
And the horsemen of my passions changed patience

3. How much the blamers blamed you and reproached
And the waves of love roared in the heart's seas

4. And if they repeated blaming Uliwah’s name
Their blame has surpassed honey and wine

5. How can I be consoled when passion is in my conscience
And the sultan of my remembrance has dominated me

6. I came to a land from which Uliwah departed
To inform me of her, but it never informed

7. I said to it, where are the friends, did they climb up?
It despaired and became silent, confused

8. I approached the ruins while they were sick
And their face had become disheveled and dusty

9. I explained the news to it while it was answering me
And I squeezed tears from my eyes, flowing and pouring

10. And it complained about the amazing sorrows of fate
And it threw its trunk and branches at it

11. If this is the rock's complaint and words
Then I deserve to die and be buried

12. If the rock's love for the gazelle is like this
Then how is the love of the courageous and valiant knight?

Who surpasses all people in generosity, might, and excellence

15. He is the rain if life was scarce in our time
He is the lion who tore the misleading coward into pieces

16. He is the hero in striking skulls and finishing off
And destroyed their spears and broke them

17. Grim when war erupted, he killed the enemies
You see the horizon red from the bloodshed

18. And his swords peeled off pure coats of mail
And his blades burrowed into the enemy’s liver

19. His ride comes to the battlefield swift and agile
And golden red bursts out of the horse's nostrils

20. When in the council, he is an imam and a scholar
And in battle, he is equal to twenty Antaras

21. And who is like him, when he enters the arena of war
Splitting open heads and chests of enemies

22. He came out of people whose justice filled the earth
But he surpassed both Chosroes and Caesar

23. With his appearance, misguidance and its people died
And he left no corruption or evil in the world

24. Generosities are known through him before Hatim
And in his justice, he surpassed Chosroes and Caesar

25. Through him the banners are erected in every spot
Through him faith was established with a name and prominence

26. If adversity descends upon the land of his enemies
It will afflict them like what afflicted Khaybar of old

27. Supremacy on all the earth is attributed to him
And the envoys cut across Najd and its passes for him

28. He is forbearing, gentle when a problem arises
Wise, eloquent in speech when a pulpit rises

29. He is the full moon, but the moon has no awe
And does not belong to a noble origin and pride

30. Kind, pure, vast of chest, silent
And his truthful words expose Ja'far

31. And I ask my Lord to increase your prominence
And honor, victory, that you have no bitterness

32. And greetings of peace, in grace and nobility
Upon all who opposed you, you were victorious
