1. O the ultimate goal of my questions and desires
God, God is in my heart

2. For how long, o my life
Do you prevent my eyes from sleeping

3. You have tormented me with promises, so have mercy
Oh, the agony of distance

4. Isn't it enough that you made my heart taste
A fire that kept intensifying

5. And after that you made my eyelids
Take an oath not to sleep again

6. You don't care for nor sympathize with
He whose enemies have shed tears

7. I will loosen the knot of his illness until
I hide him if he turns in his deathbed

8. He has faded and melted until
The valleys overflowed with his remains

9. I made him reach the place of
Attaining the ultimate desire

10. The fire of guidance perceived a nightingale
From Mount Sinai, it kindled the heart

11. So it stood in its living by calling
The caller has called upon the called

12. By God, by God o my beloved
If you saw my passion you'd know

13. That you're a magnet for my faith
So torment if you will, for in my eyes

14. It is, by God, the greatest benevolence
Or have mercy, for nothing but

15. Your pleasure is what I desire
You are where the darkness comes from

16. In the eyes and the heart of the seer
O people, have mercy on a captive

17. With no redeemer to set him free
A burning heart, drowning eyes

18. Continually ill and sleepless
A confused nightingale, unaware

19. Of its state in its passionate love
It has no helper in passion

20. Except the helper of the vales
It has no companion in the darkness

21. Except the stars lighting the hills
It has no savior but to

22. Exert itself in praising the best guide
Muhammad Ahmad the ransom

23. With forgiveness, care and heart
The most perfect of creation in essence

24. And the best of those graced with benevolence
The noblest of messengers in status

25. In the beginning and the hereafter
The greatest of all in prestige

26. Between the East and the travelers
Bright forehead, honest livelihood

27. Source of guidance with intensity
Long fine eyelashes, passionate gaze

28. Tall, straight and firm
Beautiful, majestic, fulfilment

29. Complete of hands with benevolence
Wakeful at heart, though his

30. Eyes sleep on the deathbed
A lantern, herald and good

31. Prophet, guide and leader
His Master created him from

32. Purity, lawfulness and righteousness
And formed him before all creation

33. From His originating and eternal light
He perfected him in manners and morals

34. So he excelled people in core and heart
His upcoming was foretold by

35. Sutihiq when the sea parted
And Waraqa, Kacb and likewise measured

36. That supreme hand with benevolence
And his mother saw extraordinary

37. Things beyond nature at his birth
The palace of King Kosroes cracked

38. And its highest wall collapsed
Its water diminished after flooding

39. And its embers turned to ashes
His Lord sent him in truth

40. With which He dispelled the darkness of stubbornness
So he called to Him in justice

41. Restraining the transgressions of enemies
He fasted until emaciation withered

42. His guts in resilient determination
He stood in prayer until his legs

43. Complained of pain due to his perseverance
He traveled by night with the angels

44. And messengers flying alone
All equally lowly compared to him

45. Like drips in the stream of a valley
And through him they related

46. What they contained of absolute glory by depending on him
He sent him after every caller

47. And chose him before any guide
He faced him with might and glory

48. As strong as a lion in valor and confrontation
And the eye sees him as a full moon

49. By which your darkened state disappears
He is too holy for what the Christians claim

50. And we pray to him, o best of worshippers
His Master called him to ascend

51. To where the presence of the caller was
And singled him out with a secret that

52. Became an expression of the heart
And singled him out for selection

53. Making him the pillar of the hereafter
He called him by night to the station of

54. Where the presence of the caller was
And he rode Al-Buraq when

55. Gabriel became his guide
And he kept ascending until

56. He crossed past the seven mighty thresholds
And broke through the veils with ascension

57. To the presence of the All-giving Generous
And he was like a bow's length or nearer

58. To the One who singled him out for benevolence
And he saw Reality without incarnation

59. Union or identity being attached
He revealed to him, you are My servant

60. Take a stance higher than My servants
Intercede and your intercession will be granted

61. And ask me to give abundantly
And he returned at night astonished

62. Robed in the garment of darkness
He is the intercessor relied upon

63. The pillar of those brought together in invocation
He is the Merciful who

64. has mercy for those who repent evil
He is the Generous whose hands

65. Mock the rain in generosity
He is the pillar sought in adversity

66. By those who stray from righteousness
The young camel acknowledged him in surrender

67. And the stallion greeted him in submission
The cloud shaded him from blazing heat

68. And its rains obeyed him
The moon split itself drawing near him

69. And the tree trunk bent at his absence
The sun stopped and returned

70. Easily led by his command
And the young deer called him in the valley

71. As did the infant on its deathbed
The deer greeted him when he rescued it

72. From a hunter with no ransomer
And the sheep freely yielded him milk

73. With no stud or milker
And the wolf called upon the dogs saying hurry

74. To the valley you'll be guided by the best guide
And the boulder in the middle of his palms

75. Glorified his Master, the Lord of benevolence
The palm trunk answered his call

76. As did the other speechless minerals
The sheep informed him of poison

77. And the palm tree came to him leading the way
The non-Arabs prayed openly for him

78. In eloquent tongues of locusts
And the piece of wood sprouted leaves in his hands

79. And turned sweet instead of harsh
And the water between his fingers

80. Overflowed to quench the valley
And the little food satisfied

81. An army like the multitude of locusts
And how much did he heal of disabilities and cure

82. With saliva and touch from plagues
And how much distress did he dispel and clarify

83. With the sword and spear from enemies
And how many doubts of misguidance were erased

84. When the verse of guidance was revealed
And how much virtue did I see

85. In his companions who dispelled evil
The imam of truth who spent himself

86. In remembrance, kindness and worship
And the sun of truth by which we were given to drink

87. The darkness of polytheism and obstinance
And rain of generosity by which we transcended

88. The loftiness of the seven mighty thresholds
And lion of war who made us curb

89. The rising of aggressive transgressors
No courageous army marched to war

90. Except due to him the enemies fled defeated
Nor was a sword drawn on a day of battle

91. Except due to him the enemies fell humiliated
His prey prayed for his enemies

92. A prayer sealing the meeting with death
And his companions found shelter when

93. Hostilities flared up from enemies
He led a mighty lion army

94. On steeds like the winds of Aad
Repelling violence in a wondrous way

95. A lion riding on steeds
Whenever you see what he inflicts

96. In the ferocity of war and pursuit
You'd think it an arrow he shot, aimed

97. By the cunning of a bow in perfect alignment
They are the clouds in generosity

98. They are the meteors in striving
Succors of peace to lions of war

99. Leaders inviting with yearning
Who can compare to the master of piety?

100. Or Omar the guided pillar?
Or the eminent Osman?

101. Or the noble and generous Ali?
Or his noble uncle, sons or

102. Wives leading the way of guidance?
Or his elite companions - the merciful and firm?

103. Who can match their brilliance
In knowledge, wisdom and valor?

104. Or how can they equal his ascent?
Absurd! The flowers are not like musk

105. His Master called them from His highness
And they followed from Him the best guide

106. I swear by his absence and brilliance
If the planets and lands were made

107. As scrolls stretching endlessly
With vegetation as pens and valleys

108. As ink pouring free flowing
With people continuously swarming

109. To record virtues vigilantly
To compile his attributes by scripts

110. From the evident leader of invocation
They would not contain one tenth

111. Of the virtues exclusive to the master of worshippers
And how can they account for a full moon

112. That Allah distinguished with increase?
And increased overpoweringly with victory and aid

113. Through verses of conquest and Sad
Can the rain drops be counted?

114. Or numbered like locust hordes?
Or the sand, cattle and common things

115. Measured by units and ordinary counting?
The truth is clear and not hidden

116. Except from the blindest adversaries
But I have insolently ventured to praise

117. The youth of generosity and benevolence
He is far exalted above denying my praise

118. And attaining the desired excess
Or rejecting praise completely

119. When he is the youth of every valley
By the right of his eyes and life

120. My faith cannot abandon passionate devotion
I hope for nothing but that

121. His highness is my reliance
I have not ceased invoking him

122. At every valley and every assembly
Until I invoke in a joyous voice

123. The face of the best for felicity
Come o son of Khalluf and be glad

124. For the good path and provision
We have made you among the loyal

125. And honored you with increase
We have clothed you in our pleasure

126. With garments of proximity and friendship
So delight your eye and heal your heart

127. With attaining your wish completely
O Lord, accept me and do not disappoint me

128. You are my succor and reliance
Soon returning from travel

129. To the good town and best lands
And have mercy on my submission and conclude with good

130. When a servant is called to the return
And support your loyal servant

131. Osman, vanquisher of evil
Support him and the armies of Islam through him

132. And restrain aggression of enemies
And be for him a protector and ally

133. And shield from the harm of every enemy
And guard the protection of your hopeful servant

134. The felicitous, rain of generosity
And make him successful, through him the subjects

135. And protect his ascendance, stability and continuation
And repay his benevolence to us

136. And reap by his swords the necks of the unbelievers
And aid the protectors of Islam with clouds

137. And restrain aggression through him
And have mercy on my elders

138. With storms of pardoning, pillar of pillars
And forgive my parents and improve through Your favor

139. the evil of my misdeeds
And fulfill my debts, protect my sons

140. Reward the brothers with propriety
And shower bounties on the Muslims

141. With pardon, o King of worshippers
And send blessings that accompany

142. The master mediator desired
His companions, family, loyalists

143. And followers, way of guidance
No dove has complained in its nest

144. Agitated by the hunter’s voice
