1. O Guide of the astray to the upright religion
With the drawn sword and the wise remembrance

2. O Mustafa, none could attain his perfection
Except the One who named him the Compassionate, the Merciful

3. O source of lights, O axis of seas
O manifestation of secrets, O mystery of the Wise

4. O point of division, O path of yearning
O garden of bliss, O spring of delight

5. O you whose descendant was purified that he was not born with
A blood like him, and with the like of him Eve grew barren

6. O seal of messengers, O origin of prohibition
O morning planet in the gloomy night

7. O sent to all creation with what is in the Quran
Of promises and warnings and letters Kaf and Meem

8. O solace of the grieved, O remover of misery
O savior of the captive, O refuge of the defeated

9. Are you not the great mercy of your Lord that
Encompassed all creation, free or enslaved?

10. Are you not the great sign of your Lord that
Dazzled the minds of creation, immersed or conscious?

11. Are you not His blessing that spread over
All worlds, of knowers and ignorants?

12. Are you not the one Allah glorified with, so He
Placed him at the peak of mighty honor?

13. Are you not the one the Exalted were honored with when
You became the core jewel of the well-arranged necklace?

14. Are you not the one who surpassed mankind, so you
Became, O Chosen One, their leading horseman?

15. Are you not the one who was honored when
You ascended and reached the highest summit in the night of ascension?

16. Are you not the one who mounted Al-Buraq and ascended
The seven heavens and witnessed the Generous Face?

17. Are you not the one graced with the vision
That Musa the Kalim did not attain when seeking it?

18. Are you not the one who prayed with the angels
Of heaven, the prophets, and the noble messengers?

19. Are you not the one who gained what none gained
Except Allah in the two abodes of tremendous bounty?

20. Are you not the one who stepped the Throne’s carpet with his sandal
In the presence of Holiness and Almighty Glory?

21. Are you not the one whose name He combined with His
And swore by your life, O Glorious and Kind?

22. Are you not the one He called, “Say, He hears and accepts,
Intercede and your intercession for sinners will be accepted”?

23. Are you not the one the whole universe was created for
And for you the Wise Lord established it?

24. Are you not the one without whom the guidance would not continue
Nor darkness, moisture, vegetation and fuel?

25. Are you not the one without whom there would be no True God
Nor heaven, nor paradise, nor hellfire?

26. Are you not the one without whom there would be no Throne
Nor Chair, nor Preserved Tablet?

27. Are you not the one without whom the Lote-Tree would not be frequented
When the Caller calls to prayer by its side and the Shatterer?

28. Are you not the one messengers, angels, and prophets sought refuge with
On the Day of Review and Great Terror?

29. Are you not the one granted intercession
Before the Just Arbiter, the All-Wise Judge on the Day of Reckoning?

30. Are you not the one whose light Allah said to,
“Be,” and you became the Beloved of the Generous?

31. Take me as a guide, O best one who established guidance
And called people to the Straight Path.

32. And protect me from the adversities of religion and the ailment
That has blinded my heart’s insights with its piercing arrows.

33. Are you not the one who saved Ali when he complained
Of the pain of ailment that afflicted him?

34. Are you not the one who restored the sight of Qatadah
After his eye was gouged out, O Healer of the sick?

35. Are you not the one who removed blindness, quenched thirst,
Banished hunger, healed sickness and cured the sick?

36. I came seeking you, O Beloved, and who would
Fear enemies in your precincts?

37. I came asking for your intercession, which
You stated will save sinners from hellfire.

38. Did you not say your intercession is prepared
For those with major sins on the Day people will be terrified?

39. So intercede for me through your status even if
I committed vile deeds, for you possess tremendous prestige.

40. I sought refuge in your sanctuary, so separate me
From the heat of Hellfire surrounded by the Cave of Al-Hira.

41. I served praising you, so reward me, my Master,
For it is customary to reward servants who serve beautifully.

42. One who fulfills praising you and brought
You to life in the wise remembrance has given you life.

43. After Allah praised you with creating the great universe,
Who can fulfill your great status?

44. Yet I, though falling short, did not cease
Begging at the door of the Generous.

45. I roamed in the valley of your majesty; indeed
It is a magnificent valley that dazzles the roamer's eyes.

46. I unsheathed the sword of praise for you, but did not come close
Except for love of you, anciently and presently.

47. To be among the people of piety in my worldly life
And to be among the people of Paradise in my final abode

48. O Lord, O Possessor of Bounty, O Master of Splendor
It suffices me to know that you know of my pleading.

49. If I beseeched, then you are the hoped for
And if I complained, then you are Merciful to the complainant.

50. O Lord, O Merciful, O Loving, O Beneficent
O Forbearing, O Owner of Tremendous Favor and Bounty

51. O First, O Last, O Apparent, O Hidden
O Responder to distress, O Bountiful

52. O my comforter in solitude, O my support in adversity
O security from my fear, O breaker of tyranny

53. O Living, O Eternal, O God
O Exalted above association with Alif, Waw or Jeem

54. O Singular, O Self-Sufficient, unbegotten, without child
Or associate, minister, or equal

55. O You whose glory transcended depictions
Or assignation of limits, or inhabitation of place

56. O You who transcended on the Throne loftily
Every possessor of an intact mind was perplexed by it

57. O Encompasser of sovereignty and its contents
However and wherever, O All-Knowing, All-Wise

58. O Splitter of dawn, O Sender of night
O Sender of rain, O Guide of breezes

59. O Originator of creation without fatigue
Or example, O Innovator, O Eternal

60. O Maker of things from nothingness as You willed
Straight or crooked, healthy or sick

61. O Perfect Fashioner in the darkness of wombs
Of a wonderful creation from minor or major

62. O Giver of life to man then Causer of his death
And Returner after he turns decayed and ruined

63. O Hearer of the distant cry and Knower
Of the secret and Illustrator of the perplexed matter

64. O Seer of what is beneath the layers of soil
Of laughing delightedly or frowning gloomily

65. O Counter of breaths from humans, jinn,
Noble angels or vile beasts

66. O Savior of the desperate, O Responder to calls
O Refuge of the distressed, O Wealth of the destitute

67. O Reliever of the anxious heart, O Concealer
Of foul deeds, O Remover of endless sorrows

68. O Enricher of the poor, O Sufficer of the old
O Sponsor of the orphan and Protecting Friend of the widow

69. O Sender of the Quran so we seek guidance
And Sender of messengers so we stay straight

70. O Creator of people's deeds, and Who destined
Either Paradise or Hellfire for them

71. If no one hopes in You but the obedient
Then who can the evildoer rely on?

72. O Lord, do You not respond except to the good doer?
Then who responds to wrongdoing, O Bountiful?

73. So through Ahmad's status, do not disappoint me, and
Favor me with pardon, forgiveness and ample bounty

74. Forgive my sins, allow me my hopes
Conceal my faults, and spare me the Hellfire

75. Restrain the injustice of the oppressors against me, and protect me
From the tribulation of desires and the scheming of the cursed Devil

76. Remove the veil from my sight, and save me from the harm
Of the pain of painful ailment

77. Take care of my five senses, and preserve my health
As long as I remain travelling in the transient world

78. And prevent me at my journey’s end to the eternal abode
From stopping at an evil watering hole or miserable resting place

79. Enlighten my heart with the light of knowledge and let
My tongue habitually recite the Wise Remembrance

80. Let me visit the standing place of Abraham and cherished
Zamzam, the Stone, the Majestic House and the Shatterer

81. Allow me a blessed visit to perfume my soul
With the fragrant breezes of its pleasant valley

82. Show me the clear signs illustrating the one who perceives
The glistening hints of precise meanings

83. Let me glance in Al-Baqi and excellent indeed
Is a garden that delights the eyes at its beautiful season

84. Let me witness the grave wherein
The ornaments of the purest listener or Kalim were scattered

85. Forgive the grievous sins through the guide, and who
Forgives grievous sins other than the Tremendous?

86. Give victory to the Leader of the Faithful, and be
His defender, cutting off the hand of the wicked aggressor

87. Protect the Heir, and grant him acceptance
And protect him from the plots of every spiteful enemy

88. Guard the Protectors of the religion, and grant victory between them
Against the armies of enemies with darkened faces

89. Forgive my parents, my teachers, and bestow
With your forbearing patience, O Forbearing, abundant forgiveness upon Muslims

90. Reward my children, siblings, and acquaintances
From every terror followed by the letter Meem

91. I asked You, O Merciful, by his status
While knowing You are Mercifully Caring of me

92. And by him I sought You, O Bountiful, and does one
Seeing graciousness between intercessor and Bountiful?

93. So respond to my call, O Responder, as You answered
The she-camel's pleading though she was a surly, untamed beast

94. And conclude the son of Khalluf with good
On the day when intimate cannot avail intimate

95. And perpetuate Your prayers and peace upon him as long
As You remain, O Eternal and Everlasting

96. And upon all prophets, messengers
The honored angels, possessors of pride and lasting glory

97. And the Family, all the Companions
And those who followed them upon the straight path

98. As long as the dawn caller calls upon his Lord
Seeking bounty from the abundant, copious favor
