1. The waves surged in turmoil,
While we left the ducks to splash in the ponds,
١. وَيَمٍّ هَاجَتِ الأمْوَاجُ فِيهِ
فَخِلْنَا البَطَّ تَكْرَعُ فِي حياض
2. Or the horizons revealed their treasures,
Or the rivers shone in the meadows.
٢. أو الآفَاقَ أظهرتِ الدَّرَارِي
أو الأنهارَ لاَحَتْ في رياض
