٤٤. إلَيْك رَعَاكَ اللَّهُ مدْحَةَ مُقْتِرٍ
يُحَاشِيكَ أنْ تَلْقَى المَدِيحَ بلاَ بِرّ

٤٥. شَكَوْتُ بِهَا جورَ الزَّمَانِ وَإنَّمَا
شَكَوْتُ أخَا رِقّ إلَى الملكِ البَرّ

On the death of God’s enemy, the tyrant of blasphemy.

٤٦. فَخُذْهَا بِتفوِيفِ الوَلاَ كُلَّ حُلَّةٍ
مُعَطَّرَةِ الأرْدَانِ بِالحَمْدِ وَالشُّكْرِ

47. It informs you of the blessed month and its fast,
Blessed is the fast, blessed is the month.

٤٧. تُهَنِّيكَ بِالإسْلاَمِ يَا ركنَ عِزّهِ
بِمَوْتِ عَدُوّ اللَّهِ طَاغِيَةِ الكُفْرِ

٤٨. وَتُعْلِمُ بِالشهرِ المُبَارَك صوْمهُ
فَبُورِكَ من صوْمٍ وَبُورِكَ من شهرِ

How can the radiant moon be compared to the worthless?

٤٩. وتبسمُ عَنْ ثغر تَنَضَّدَ دُرهُ
فَأزْرَى بِعقد الدرّ وَالكَوْكَبِ الدرّيّ

50. You remain throughout time when eras end,
As a new one starts after another ends.

٥٠. وَتَفْخَرُ بِالنظْمِ البديِعِ عَلَى السِّوَى
وكَيْفَ يُقَاسُ الجَزْعُ في الحُسْنِ بالبَدْرِ

51. Continuing with good, verified deeds,
Obeying orders and avoiding sins.

٥١. بَقِيتَ بَقَاءَ الدَّهْرِ فِينَاً إذَا انْقَضَتْ
أوَاخِرُ عَصْرٍ عَاوَدَتْ مُبْتَدَا عَصْرِ

52. May you remain, as time remains,
When an age ends, another starts.

٥٢. وَلاَ زِلْتَ ذَا فعلٍ جَمِيلٍ مُصَدَّقٍ
بِقَوْلٍ مُطَاعَ النَهْيِ مُمْتَثَلَ الأمْرِ
