1. I love you with a passionate love
Like a lost wanderer seeking water

2. I love you, my beloved, you are to me
Like Suwayda to the heart

3. And I made your love dwell in Suwayda
As the light of my eyes dwells in the pupil

4. So you are the light of my being and my heart
And you are the pillar of my soul and my reliance

5. And you are the backbone of my body and my meaning
And the obvious existence of my life is my guide

6. People spread that your love weakened me
Yes, they spoke the truth and my religion and belief

7. And if they knew that you are the purpose of my quest
And the ultimate hope of my affection

8. They would say that I am a devoted slave of God
And it suffices me to rely on you

9. Can the secret of a love be hidden
That makes the lost camel mount every hill

10. Why don't they feel the love of passion
That makes my poetry crazed in every valley

11. Can the turtle hide the pearls it contains
While the secret of the turtle is obvious in its shell

12. Can the cloud hide the lightning in it
Can musk be carried by the deserts unwittingly

13. So your love is my law and your company is my keepsake
And the memory of you is my drink and your love is my provision

14. And praising you is my Kaaba and orbit of my heart
And my place of ritual stay and pilgrimage destination

15. And the cornerstone of my supplication and my ritual place
And the rock of my intimacy, loyalty and affection

16. So do not blame me and I have no fault
For my heart has become devoted and surrendered

17. It is no wonder that my tongue calls out
The love of Muhammad in every assembly

18. For in him is my love and to him is my matter
And whom I seek and on whom I depend

19. A messenger who came to us with a book of truth
So he reformed us after corruption

20. Beloved of the Truth, crown of messengers, Taha
Leader of creation, the morning sun of guidance

21. Fertile rain, extinguished flames
Remover of affliction, appreciated aid

22. He reached the peak of glory when
The Supreme Caller called him to ascend

23. And he rode Al-Buraq to the Lote Tree
Whose end cannot be known even by conjecture

24. The veils were lifted from him in reverence
And the signs called out to him in the deserts

25. And he trod with his slipper in veneration
And sat atop the exalted throne

26. And he approached to within two bow lengths
To the dismay of adversaries and enemies

27. And witnessed the face of his Master unveiled
And He informed him of the secrets of the return

28. And called him "come closer my beloved
And approach, so the way to you is manifest"

29. And He said "listen" and "ask, you will be granted wishes"
"Arise and intercede, you will intercede for people"

30. He called us, so we followed the best caller
He guided us to happiness - he is our guide

31. And revived the nation of Islam after
He established its pillars following its destruction

32. And he subjugated the kingdom of Chosroes after might
And tore the Persians with the tearing of Aad

33. And their water disappeared after gushing
And their fire was extinguished after blazing

34. The full moon of the horizon split from nearness
And the trunk of the palm bent from the distance

35. And the clouds protected him from the heat of the sun
And came to him with beneficial rain

36. When delegations looked upon him, they said:
"If only the clouds were eternal aid of hands"

37. And if the ally screamed and raged, they called:
"The pole of war or help of the caller"

38. And if the tyrants prowled the land of war
And the spear called for holy war

39. The white swords stood up for him when they scrambled
Censuring them with the tongues of mourning

40. I admit that glory falls short of that glory
Pride cannot ascend by stubbornness

41. Nor is the beauty of wishes in yearnings
Nor the adornment of meadows in saplings

42. Neither is the horizon like the nearby
Nor is dwelling atop like the lowlands

43. Nor is the light of morn like the shining lamp
Nor light of the land like sparks

44. Neither is the bloom of narjis like flowers
Nor the water of rivers like downpours

45. Greatness seeks refuge in his glory thus becoming
Proudest well-prepared well-guided

46. And most splendid well-rooted well-armed
And most perfect well-prepared well-guided

47. Crescent of glory, sky of kindness
And stronghold of Sowda and elevated fastness

48. Attended by companions who inclined toward him
Ransoming him, woe to whoever lags

49. As if they were stars around a moon
Whose lights eclipsed the night of enemies

50. Or lions leading them is Hizbir
Fierce in might, open-handed guide

51. I swear by the one who sees, if I counted his virtues
And what he was given of grace by the Generous

52. Adhering sincerely, dutiful, loving
Convinced in creed and striving

53. To what is in scriptures of marvelous speech
And what is on tablets of light and flowing

54. And what is in the name of mystery of beginning
And what is in action of state of return

55. And what is in the letter of meaning lighted
By it the colors after darkness

56. If the earth and orbits were sheets extended
With appraisal and the vegetation were pens

57. And the water of clouds and lands were ink
And all creatures were volumes hastening

58. From inception to the day of calling
The meanings of God in the one

59. God gifted glory by increase, would not run out
So how can His attributes be limited by counts

60. And God's favor singled out by flowing
Can grains of sand and pebbles be counted

61. Can vegetation or drops of rain be numbered
Can the stars be confined to a jeweler's measure

62. Can the number of locusts be comprehended
Can existence and what it contains be regulated

63. By a baa, an ain, or a saad
Impossible for the secret He made radiant as guidance

64. To be described by deficient portrayals
But I am insignificant, it suffices me

65. To stable my steed in bounty's meadow
And keep repeating in praise which brought me near

66. With sincerity, love, and faith
So fulfill in you my hopes and attend

67. To my prayers of praise and grant my wishes
For I do not see my reliance upon other than you

68. Nor my dependence on other than you
Far be it that praise misguides my endeavor

69. Wavering between Mahdi and guide
It suffices me that I reached the door of glory

70. With humility, destitution, and isolation
And it is enough that I complained to the Generous

71. Of my steed's shortcoming and spent provision
O God, O Master of Gifts

72. And gateway in the sky without pillar
By what is in the kaf and haa

73. And the ya, the ayin and the saad
And what is in the tablet of ancient words

74. Exalted above occurrence and change
And what is in the throne of wondrous meaning

75. And what is in existence of fear and lonely
And by each extended letter

76. And the Ameen, the haa and the praiser
Save me from the torment of debt and reform

77. My affairs and protect me from the evil of the return
And allow me the return to pilgrimage and safeguard me

78. With a good visit, best of lands
And enlighten me with faith and prosperity

79. And decree my appointed time by the hand of fate
And crown me with the crown of knowledge and make

80. The plateau of righteousness and piety my plateau
And be for me in life and then death

81. And in the darkness of privation and enemy
And aid the kingdom of Your servant, the best successor

82. My father Umar and the guided Imam
And aid him with opening and victory

83. And honor among lands and people
And guard with his high spears and prepare

84. With his swords the settlements and deserts
And halt him, and treat him with benevolence

85. And be an ally to him on the day of calling
And make Your servant al-Masoud successful and gladden

86. The meadows and deserts with his rising
And grant him good fortune, and make him attain

87. What he hopes for from Your wishes through Your grace
And treat him with goodness, overlook his faults

88. And make his elevation safe from the evil of enemies
And facilitate his matter, and bestow upon him

89. Gifts indicating increase
And reward the son of the Caliphs with what is hoped

90. Of abundant magnificent increase
And pardon, overlook, and be kind in forgiving

91. The elders, fathers of guidance
And clothe them in the garb of forbearance, and protect

92. My sons and brothers from every enemy
And be for the Muslims, wherever they may be

93. With constant, growing, restoring grace
And bless Your Prophet as long as

94. Lightning makes the eyelids of valleys smile
And take care of the Companions, best of clouds

95. That rain upon the believers among the people.
