We console ourselves with hope
١. عَسى فَرَجٌ يَكونُ عَسى
نُعَلِّلُ أَنفُساً بِعَسى
2. So lose not heart, though you meet
Sorrows that stifle breath's ease
٢. فَلا تَقنَط وَإِن لاقَي
تَ هَمّاً يَقبِضُ النَفسا
3. For nearest joy comes to man
When he despairs of relief
٣. فَأَقرَبُ ما يَكونُ المَر
ءُ مِن فَرَجٍ إِذا أَيِسا
