And its swords slaying the young camels

And every coward advanced on the terrible day

3. And how many a structure you raised by your eyelids
Or by your brows on a fateful day

4. I extended my protection to him, and he granted it sanctuary
And enriched my hand and tongue apart from others

5. I quenched and watered the companion with his money
And got revenge on the hot month of Ramadan

6. Shawwal had a claim over me
So his gifts of generosity came with a guarantee
