1. Embrace sincerity and remember humbly
Remove from the heart the veil of illusion with etiquette

2. Surrender the matter to the Merciful, relying
Upon Him, for He is The Bountiful, The Reliever of distress

3. And take to Him the path of the reverent without
Deviation; correct the course of purpose with seeking

4. And take the Imam of guidance in every situation
As an impenetrable shield against doubts and suspicions

5. And act with the advice of Allah’s Book, believing
Its texts, for it is truly the noblest of books

6. And follow the Family and Companions, for they
Have ties to Al-Mustafa, not to mention causation

7. And rid yourself of desire and abandon its domains
And take to the Law of the Beloved Chosen One and be content

8. And take the path of the Shaykh of the reverent, my father
Al-‘Abbas, Shaykh of Al-‘Urayja, the pure lineage

9. For within his curriculum is knowledge and cognition
And travel of a heart to my Lord without fluctuation

10. And humility, brokenness, and connection of a hand
To the Hashimite, Imam of non-Arabs and Arabs

11. Take the advice of a Shaykh whose Lord tried him
Who feared loss and did not covet gold

12. And gather your heart and acquaint it with its truths
And relinquish interpreting all nonsense to attain wishes

13. For whomever the Merciful desired an ascension
He rolled out existence so he was neither present nor absent

14. He rises with fervor and yearning inflames him
Among his feelings during the night with flames

15. Until when the connection quenched him with a pouring
White rain poured like the pouring of floods on grass

16. And the hand of success awakened him from slumber
And tore away from him the veil of whatever curtains

17. He wept, moaned, and the earth of his intention shone
As the heavens shone with shooting stars

18. And set out determined, unrelentingly relying
On The Bountiful, proper of purpose and cultured

19. Likewise, those whose intentions are purified by The Merciful
Will never repent except to the Beloved, never to repent
