1. I am the youth from the tribe of fishermen
My lineage is outlined in the pages of the unseen

2. Each of us is a singular flag, each singular in his distinction
Yet we are all one flag, united in our oneness

3. Tell the ignorant to beware, we are a group
That no heart in existence has ever entertained an idol over

4. If our leader rises, glory will envelope him
And wisdom will shine through his words

5. Your question “Who is this?” does no good
The Arabs recognize him though strangers do not

6. You have overstepped in asking “Who is this?”
And followed the path of a people blinded by misguidance

7. This is the son of Fatima, if you do not know him
The prophets of God culminate in his grandfather

8. A heart embellished with devotion is his abode
And generosity flows freely from its springs

9. Never did he say “No”, except in his supplications
If not for his supplications, his bestowals would always be “Yes”

10. Of a nation unto whom the Beneficent exalted their stature
And beneath their feet are the masses of all nations

11. A people whose love is religion and whose hatred
Is blasphemy, and closeness to them safety and refuge

12. Generosity resides only where they reside
No other family can equal them, however great they may be

13. No other generous soul can surpass their limit
Nor can any other people parallel them, however generous they may be

14. My people, through whom my chain of honor is adorned
With a pride embroidered by good manners and high morals

15. How many resentful people attacked them
Only to be repelled, disgraced and regretful

16. We are the ones the plain knows from our procession
And the House recognizes us, and the permitted and forbidden territories

17. Since my Lord divided people while creating them
Our enemies were allotted to the hellfire during their absence

18. In every heart devoted to us there is from every direction
An unleashing sea of abundant, stormy support

19. If one of us known for war rages forth in the battle of knights
None but the fierce annihilator returns

20. For us, over every valley flows a heavenly banner
Which we openly spread, numbering its divine marks

21. All praise is due to God, these are all blessings
It is the right of their Bestower that blessings be thanked
