And is there for the throbbing of the heart, O Saad, tranquility?

2. It is the lightning and the tower that shone
With a heart that has the love of the people of piety as its religion

3. When the Iraqi lightning illuminates the horizon
It melts passionately while the admirer is infatuated

4. Indeed, O the generous people from the land of Wasit
And O you in whose love the heart of the miserable laments

5. I am that slave who professed love for you
And you are, as you wish, our beloved ones, so be

6. For my heart you have a debt of fervent love
By my life, deferred until life runs out, I am indebted

7. If your abodes in Batah have become distant from us
Thanks to God, Al-Muthakkain has come near

8. We smell the dust of the door from a shrine therein
What an excellent, lofty, and secure door!

9. The station of the Waliyy and son of the Waliyy
And essence of a spiritual state evidenced yet concealed

10. In it is the secret of the companions of the courtyard in his keeping
Yes, the ambiguity of the secret belongs in the letter 'seen'

11. The young man of the house of Rifa’i, Ahmad
And from his spiritual ascent the unseen is guaranteed

12. Abu Al-Himam, the spiritual fisherman, our Ahmad
Upon whom the spirit of sainthoodOverflowed, O Yaseen

13. We read for him in the parchment an ayah
Which after recitation, Taseen explains

14. We took from the unseen, arts
So neither has effort diminished nor reward withheld

15. Take, O men of God, our way from us
And die with us and keep our secrets safe

16. For we are the proofs of the Prophet and his Progeny
And our rejector is mired in abject disgrace

17. Say to the breasts of the gnostics, verify
Our methodology for a time and profess our love as religion

18. For our Ahmad was not diverted by any justice
Or gnosis that ambiguity could stain

19. And we are his heirs in every presence
Through our thresholds the world, and through our secrets, the faith
